Updating the Contented mobile app
Last updated: May 18, 2026
We regularly release updates to the Contented mobile app to fix bugs and improve your experience. If something isn't working as expected, checking for an update is a great first step.
Why keep the app updated?
Keeping your Contented app up to date ensures you have the latest bug fixes, performance improvements, and features. If you're experiencing issues with recording, uploading, or syncing, an outdated app version is often the culprit.
How to update on Android (Google Play Store)
Open the Play Store app on your device.
Tap your profile icon at the top right of the screen.
Tap Manage apps & device.
Under "Updates available," tap See details.
Find Contented in the list and tap Update.
Good to know: If you don't see Contented listed under updates, you're already on the latest version - nice!
How to update on iOS (App Store)
Apps on iPhone and iPad typically update automatically, but you can manually check at any time:
Tap the App Store icon on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your profile icon (or photo) at the top right of the screen.
Scroll down to see any pending updates.
If Contented appears in the list, tap Update next to it.
Good to know: To enable automatic updates on iOS, go to Settings → App Store and toggle on App Updates. That way you'll always be on the latest version without thinking about it.
Still having trouble?
