Signing in without a password

We've upgraded how you sign in to Contented. Passwords are gone, so there's nothing to remember or reset. Here's everything you need to know.

How do I sign in?

You have three options:

  • One-time email code: enter your email, and we'll send a short code to your inbox. Enter the code and you're in.

  • Google: sign in with your Google account.

  • Apple: sign in with your Apple ID.

That's it. Pick whichever works best for you. We recommend the one-time code.

I didn't receive my one-time code

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there:

  • Make sure you entered the correct email address (the one linked to your Contented account).

  • Wait a minute and try again; codes are delivered instantly but occasionally delayed.

  • Still nothing? Contact support at support@contentedai.com and we'll get you in!

What happened to my password?

It's been removed. Passwords are no longer part of how Contented works, so there's nothing to reset or recover. The one-time code is your way in whenever you need it - as long as you have access to your email, you can always sign in.

I'm signing in on a new device or browser

Enter your email and use a one-time code - that's your fallback on any device, any time. You don't need to set anything up in advance.

I use Contented on my phone and my laptop, do I need to sign in twice?

Each device has its own session, so yes, you'll go through the sign-in flow on each one. Once you're in, you'll stay signed in unless you log out or your session expires.

Can I get my password back?

No. This change is permanent at the product level. But you won't need it. The one-time code gets you in just as quickly, and works even if you switch devices or lose access to a saved session.

My team uses Google Workspace / SSO, does this affect us?

If your organisation is set up with SSO, your sign-in flow may look different. Reach out to your IT admin or contact us and we'll walk you through it.
